About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and communicate the product line vision, price, roadmap, and priorities aligned with business objectives
  • Gather, analyse, and prioritise customer, market, and business requirements
  • Maintain product specifications and pricing while aligning stakeholder needs, business value, and development activities
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee hardware and firmware development projects, industrialization, sales, marketing, and administrative activities from initiation through market launch
  • Manage project scope, schedules, milestones, resources, budgets, risks, and dependencies
  • Monitor progress and ensure deliverables meet agreed quality, timeline, and success criteria
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget, on-quality industrialization and market introduction
  • Prioritise product and project backlogs with technical leaders
  • Facilitate backlog refinement, planning, reviews, and release activities
  • Coordinate hardware and firmware development efforts, remove blockers, and align technical solutions with product requirements and project objectives
  • Maintain project and product line documentation covering requirements, risks, changes, deliverables, sales, marketing, quality, technical, security, and certification scope
  • Monitor KPIs and provide status reporting to stakeholders
  • Ensure effective use of project management processes, time tracking, progress monitoring, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, internal regulations, regulatory, quality, and security requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality of information handled during duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in project management as well as product management, or a similar role within embedded systems development
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams composed of hardware, firmware, software, and test engineers
  • Experience using Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or equivalent
  • PMI certification a plus
  • Experience with the Waterfall model valuable to drive changes
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken
  • Familiarity with connected smart outdoor electronics products
  • Ability to translate market and customer needs into product requirements
  • Experience in product lifecycle management
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and development processes
  • Understanding of IoT platforms, communication technologies, and connected devices
  • Knowledge of hardware and firmware development lifecycles
  • Knowledge of certification requirements for IoT products worldwide
  • Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and execution, including WBS, GANTT, and Critical Path
  • Scope, budget, and resource management
