Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the design and balancing of game economy and progression systems.
  • Analyze resources, rewards, and progression loops within our games.
  • Use data to better understand player behavior and progression.
  • Help build models and simulations to test different balancing scenarios.
  • Research competitor games and trends in the free-to-play market.
  • Help configure and monitor content, events, and features.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product, Data, and Development teams.
  • Make recommendations based on your analysis and observations.
  • Present your work, explain the creative process, receive feedback, and connect with the team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Sciences, Data Analytics, or a related program.
  • A strong interest in game design, progression systems, and free-to-play games.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and solving problems.
  • Good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Curiosity about player behavior and how game systems shape the player experience.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to communicate your ideas clearly.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or data visualization tools is an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
