About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Configure and maintain EMS/SCADA interfaces for continuous and accurate telemetry
  • Update SCADA points and one-line diagrams for real-time system visualization and control
  • Prepare and configure environments for device pre-commissioning
  • Report and coordinate system anomalies with NOC/NSG
  • Support Operations Centers in daily EMS application and module use
  • Produce and distribute EMS-related reports to authorized business units
  • Perform backups, patching, troubleshooting, and recovery activities
  • Follow change-control protocols and maintain EMS system integrity
  • Document updates, procedures, and configurations
  • Follow company policies, procedures, standards, laws, and industry regulations
  • Participate in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills
  • Perform additional aligned tasks supporting team goals and operational flexibility

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5 years’ experience in SCADA /PLC environment or similar functional role
  • Previous experience with configuration of RTU’s or PLC’s will be a strong asset
  • Good understanding of SCADA, FEP, ICCP, RTU’s, HMI, PLC’s, Displays
  • Familiarity with communication protocols used on Industrial Control Systems, such as DNP3 and Modbus
  • Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 20/20 corrected vision
  • Ability to receive detailed information if spoken to
