About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Bring up UHP and HPL laser assembly, test, and AOI equipment to support production, yield improvement, and product cost reduction from fabrication to final test
- Perform statistical data analysis and correlation to troubleshoot potential root causes for fab yield excursions
- Run process versus product parameter correlation to understand process/product margins and drive improvement
- Detect fab excursions early using fab test data before material is sent to the assembly site
- Work with Product Engineering to drive yield improvement and product cost reduction after production ramp in foundries
- Perform engineering material disposition
- Conduct failure analysis for NPI, sustaining products, and RMA
- Perform engineering material disposition at wafer acceptance test
- Coordinate with R&D, Product Engineering, process integration, and contract manufacturers to provide faster responses to customers regarding field failures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Self-motivated and data-oriented
- Based in San Jose, Rose Orchard Fab
- Experience with UHP and HPL laser backend assembly, test, and AOI
- Statistical data analysis, correlation, and troubleshooting of yield excursions using test data
- Process versus product parameter correlation
- Yield improvement and product cost reduction in foundries
- Failure analysis for NPI, sustaining products, and RMA
- Coordination with R&D, Product Engineering, process integration, and contract manufacturers
