About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Eligibility Department through a variety of technical tasks
  • Load Triple E files
  • Perform manual eligibility updates
  • Enter and/or modify eligibility data in Luminare Health systems accurately and timely according to established procedures and client requirements
  • Respond to telephone, written and electronic inquiries from employees/members, clients and co-workers
  • Perform the same tasks as an Eligibility Analyst as required by departmental needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum three years Eligibility experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service and production driven environment
  • Exceptional data entry skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with employees/members, providers, clients and differing levels of co-workers including Client Management staff
  • Ability to use common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written or diagram form
  • Flexible; open to continued process improvement
  • Self-directed individual who works well with minimal supervision
  • Good leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills
  • Ability to effectively deal with problems in varying situations and reach resolution
  • Ability to learn new/proprietary systems, adapt to various system platforms, and effectively use MS Excel/Word
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Previous leadership experience (preferred)
