About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with the client’s development squad, collaborating with the PO, developers, UX/UI professionals, and other team members
- Participate in the squad’s agile ceremonies, contributing to delivery planning and tracking
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, identifying inconsistencies, risks, and failure scenarios
- Create test scenarios and test cases based on business rules and application flows
- Execute functional, exploratory, integration, regression, and business-rule validation testing
- Validate features before they are released for user acceptance testing and/or production
- Identify, log, document, and track bugs and nonconformities
- Work with developers to investigate, reproduce, and validate defect fixes
- Perform regression testing
- Record test evidence and keep quality documentation up to date
- Contribute to the squad’s acceptance criteria and Definition of Done (DoD)
- Support user acceptance testing with the PO and client stakeholders
- Identify quality risks early and take preventive action
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes, standards, and practices
- Support test automation opportunities
- Monitor quality indicators and help reduce bugs, rework, and recurrence
- Use AI for analysis, scenario creation, testing, and productivity gains
Requirements
What you’ll need- Autonomy, critical thinking, and a proactive approach
- Ability to challenge requirements, anticipate problems, and suggest improvements
- Ability to perform automated testing
- Experience working within agile squads
- Knowledge of test automation and API testing
- Experience with Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of and experience applying AI to increase productivity and improve quality practices
