About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide expert, operational, and oversight support to strategic initiatives within Global Business Services, focusing on legal and accounting closure of entities under the COM Project
  • Coordinate, monitor, and control entity closure activities
  • Ensure legal, financial, and administrative closure steps are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with applicable laws, accounting standards, and corporate policies
  • Coordinate with liquidators, legal advisors, finance experts, and internal stakeholders
  • Act as the primary liaison between GBS teams, external liquidators, and HQ workstreams for assigned company codes
  • Track closure progress, monitor risk areas, identify issues early, and escalate concerns
  • Support compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate operational compliance and recommend process improvements
  • Ensure timely and accurate information flow among stakeholders
  • Prepare status updates, reports, and supporting documentation
  • Identify compliance, legal, and financial risks and contribute to mitigation strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience in finance, accounting, or compliance within an international or GBS environment
  • Proven ability to manage complex activities independently and navigate ambiguity
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders globally
  • Curious and accountable problem-solver who thrives in complexity, seeks knowledge proactively, and turns uncertainty into clear, responsible actions
  • Collaborative and respectful communicator who builds trust, works effectively across cultures, and engages confidently with senior stakeholders and experts worldwide
  • Adaptable and resilient team player who takes ownership, delivers under pressure, and grows through change
  • Minimum 8+ years of overall combined GBS-based experience
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • English at C1 level
  • Master’s degree
  • Project Management knowledge is an advantage
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
  • Participation in transformative projects is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build very good relationships with senior and demanding stakeholders
