About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape how the Veeva platform and Vault applications are designed, configured, integrated, and evolved
- Govern and execute Veeva Platform yearly wheel activities
- Communicate with key stakeholders and facilitate platform initiatives
- Translate business needs into secure, compliant, scalable, and sustainable technical solutions
- Contribute to solution architecture and design across R&D IT platforms and systems
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT colleagues, vendors, and partners to deliver robust solutions
- Participate in technology and vendor selection activities, including RfI and RfP processes
- Conduct solution and supplier assessments
- Support solutions through GxP validation, commissioning, and handover to operations
- Provide limited incident support for applications and systems within the R&D IT portfolio
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong technical background and experience as a Solution Architect, Veeva Platform Specialist, or in a similar role within a regulated environment
- Experience with Veeva platform ownership and governance
- Experience with daily system and release management, including configuring, implementing, and validating new Veeva Platform features and functionality
- Experience maintaining platform documentation and ensuring governance throughout the platform lifecycle
- Experience with solution architecture and implementation projects in regulated (GxP) environments
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable solution designs and technical requirements
- Experience working with integrations and understanding platform interactions within broader enterprise architecture
- Structured approach to coordinating tasks, initiatives, and smaller projects
- Ability to contribute to architecture and solution design decisions in a complex, multi-vendor landscape
- Ability to balance business requirements, user needs, compliance, security, and long-term maintainability
- Positive, proactive, and collaborative mindset
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
