About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative support to the People Experience team, including scheduling meetings and preparing documentation
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and personnel records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and audits
- Support compliance activities, including document tracking and certifications
- Respond to basic people and culture policy inquiries and escalate complex questions as appropriate
- Coordinate logistics for People Experience initiatives, training sessions, and monthly reporting follow-up with respective markets
- Support employee relations matters, including performance concerns, conduct issues, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation
- Partner with benefits regarding leave maintenance and return-to-work coordination
- Assist with intake, documentation, and coordination of employee relations cases
- Support workplace investigations by gathering information, preparing documentation, coordinating interviews, and maintaining files
- Support employee engagement and compliance initiatives, occasional site visits, audits, and training coordination
- Administer and maintain the North America Tenure Program across Canada and the United States
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to employee relations, investigations, or people compliance
- Fluency in both English and French, with effective verbal and written communication
- Working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to handle sensitive matters professionally and discreetly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Sound judgment, attention to detail, and a high degree of confidentiality
- Proficiency with Google Workspace tools
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- CHRP/working toward designation is an asset
