About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered care
- Provide case management, pregnancy counseling, parenting and adoption education, community education and outreach, and post-adoption support for birth parents
- Create service plans with clients, including goals and objectives aligned with client wishes
- Counsel, advocate, and teach clients identified skills face to face in the home or virtually
- Respond to client crisis situations within program parameters and according to program protocols
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other Human Behavior Science
- Must be a licensed driver
- Access to dependable personal transportation
- Auto insurance
- Passion for making a difference and supporting families through life’s challenges
- Two years’ experience in child welfare, working with children and families (preferred)
