About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and provide care to clients that are safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered
- Provide case management, pregnancy counseling, parenting and adoption education, community education and outreach, and post-adoption support for birth parents
- Create a service plan in conjunction with the client to develop goals and objectives consistent with what the client wishes to accomplish
- Counsel, advocate, and teach clients the skills identified in their service plan face to face in home or virtually
- Respond to clients’ crisis situations within program parameters in a timely manner according to program protocols
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other Human Behavior Science
- Candidate must be a licensed driver with access to dependable personal transportation and auto insurance
- Preferred two years’ experience in child welfare, working with children and families
- Passion for making a difference and supporting families through life’s challenges
