About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive to and visit assigned retail store locations within a designated territory in Massachusetts
- Complete approximately 50 store visits per month, subject to project scope
- Follow pre-assigned visit plans, locations, timing, and deadlines
- Use a mobile application to capture high-quality, complete images of product shelves
- Ensure full shelf coverage, straight-on alignment, clear images, and compliance with category-based collection rules
- Upload collected data promptly after visits
- Report closed or inaccessible stores, missing or unclear assignments, and technical or app issues
- Drive between multiple geographically grouped stores, typically up to approximately 9 miles apart
- Work independently with minimal supervision and interact with store personnel and customers as needed
- Revisit stores when quality standards are not met
- Complete assigned monthly store volume and all required tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Willingness and ability to drive between multiple retail locations during the workday
- Smartphone (iOS or Android) capable of running the required application
- Reliable internet access through Wi-Fi or mobile data
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to navigate retail environments independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured instructions
- Massachusetts applicants should reside in or near the listed ZIP codes
- Completion of mandatory training prior to fieldwork
- Ability to meet image capture, task, and quality standards before production
- Preferred: prior experience in retail merchandising
- Preferred: field data collection, auditing, or mystery shopping experience
- Preferred: experience in route-based or multi-location work environments
- Preferred: familiarity with grocery or retail store layouts
