About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive to and visit assigned retail store locations within a designated territory
- Complete approximately 50 store visits per month, subject to project scope
- Follow pre-determined visit plans, locations, timing, and deadlines
- Use a mobile application to capture complete, high-quality images of product shelves
- Ensure full shelf coverage, straight-on alignment, and clear, non-blurry images
- Follow category-based collection rules and task structure requirements
- Upload collected data promptly after visits
- Report closed or inaccessible stores, unclear assignments, and technical or application issues
- Travel independently between multiple stores, typically up to approximately 9 miles apart
- Interact with store personnel and customers when needed
- Revisit stores when collected data does not meet quality standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Willingness and ability to drive between multiple retail locations during the workday
- Smartphone (iOS or Android) capable of running the required application
- Reliable internet access through Wi-Fi or mobile data
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to navigate retail environments independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured instructions
- Must reside in or near one of the listed Washington ZIP codes
- Completion of mandatory training before fieldwork
- Ability to meet image capture and data quality standards
- Prior experience in retail merchandising, field data collection, auditing, or mystery shopping preferred
- Experience in route-based or multi-location work environments preferred
- Familiarity with grocery or retail store layouts preferred
- Must use the same device throughout each visit
- Must be able to revisit stores if quality standards are not met
