About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive to and visit assigned retail store locations within a designated Minnesota territory
- Complete approximately 50 store visits per month, subject to project scope
- Follow pre-determined visit plans, locations, timing, and deadlines
- Use a mobile application to capture complete, high-quality images of product shelves
- Ensure full shelf coverage, straight-on alignment, clear images, and compliance with category-based collection rules
- Upload collected data promptly after visits
- Report closed or inaccessible stores, missing or unclear assignments, and technical or app issues
- Drive between multiple geographically grouped stores, typically up to approximately 9 miles apart
- Complete mandatory training and demonstrate quality standards before production work
- Participate in ongoing quality checks and feedback
- Revisit stores when collected data does not meet quality standards
- Work independently with minimal supervision and interact with store personnel and customers as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Willingness and ability to drive between multiple retail locations during the workday
- Smartphone (iOS or Android) capable of running the required application
- Reliable internet access through Wi-Fi or mobile data
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to navigate retail environments independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured instructions
- Must reside in or near one of the listed Minnesota ZIP codes
- Completion of mandatory training and onboarding certification before fieldwork
- Ability to meet image quality and task completion standards
- Prior retail merchandising, field data collection, auditing, mystery shopping, route-based or multi-location work, and familiarity with grocery or retail store layouts preferred
