About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform administrative duties supporting the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Department at the LyondellBasell Morris, Illinois site
- Report to the HSE Manager
- Create, track, and manage purchase requisitions
- Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes and support procurement activities for site HSE programs, projects, and operational needs
- Maintain HSE Elements pages and SharePoint sites
- Manage HSE processes and reporting systems, including OSHA reporting, PPE program administration, internal performance reporting, audit and corrective action management, and HSE software administration
- Develop and maintain site KPIs and performance dashboards using Power BI, Intelex, SAP, and other reporting tools
- Facilitate departmental procedure review processes
- Serve as a super user for the document management system
- Coordinate catering for approved events, audits, and meetings
- Arrange meeting rooms, materials, and logistics
- Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reporting
- Participate in site safety programs
- Ensure adherence to quality standards
- Provide data and documentation support for audits and compliance activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience required
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate workflows, manage multiple priorities, and build collaborative working relationships
- Ability to work independently, proactively identify improvement opportunities, and implement administrative process enhancements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to learn and utilize HSE-related systems and software applications
- Administrative experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or environmental health and safety environment preferred
- Experience with data collection, reporting, and analytics tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, SAP, Intelex, or similar systems preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA reporting and work-hour calculations
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
