About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build, coach, and lead a high-performing team of SAP experts
- Ensure continuous learning and competency development
- Align team goals with ERP goals and monitor results
- Create a strong S/4 talent pool
- Perform team capacity planning and assign resources according to priority, capability, and growth opportunities
- Implement solution design and development governance aligned with industry practices, Enterprise Architecture, and Cyber Security guidelines
- Promote standard SAP solutions and reduce customization and technology debt
- Lead design and development of clean-core S/4 solutions
- Review solution design and development to ensure quality
- Organize cross-functional collaboration for optimal solutions
- Partner with the AMS provider to manage day-to-day Supply Chain solution operations
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Maintain and improve end-to-end solution documentation
- Contribute to feasibility assessments and solution selection
- Assign resources to projects and recommend capacity or skill augmentation
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions with system integration partners
- Identify and manage solution risks with project managers
- Drive adoption of S/4 private and public cloud, AI/Joule, BTP, Analytics, and other SAP technologies
- Guide analysts in S/4 capabilities such as Fiori apps, embedded analytics, and intelligent technologies
- Support data mapping, cleansing, and validation efforts
- Serve as primary liaison between the SAP CoE Lead to Cash team and business and Digital Technology stakeholders
- Support ERP leadership strategic imperatives
- Manage the CoE team budget and optimize resource allocation and costs
- Ensure data quality and timely compliance with financial targets and monthly forecasts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management, Engineering, or another related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of SAP experience
- 4–5 full-cycle ERP/S4 implementations, upgrades, and operations
- Hands-on experience in SAP Supply Chain lifecycle activities, including solution design, configuration, quality assurance, and issue resolution
- Minimum 5 years managing operations of a portfolio of SAP solutions and interfacing applications in partnership with an external party
- Experience working in a matrix organization and leading a team
- Knowledge of SAP architecture, market trends, operations, and business drivers
- Ability to propose and present convincing business cases and product roadmaps to business leaders
- Deep understanding of end-to-end Lead to Order, Order to Cash, Produce to Deliver, and interlocking processes
- Expertise in SAP ECC, S/4 public and private cloud solutions, technical architecture, and integration technology, specializing in Supply Chain solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of IT governance, planning, budgeting, and cost management
- Ability to travel approximately 30 percent domestically and internationally
- SAP Supply Chain suite certification preferred
- Experience managing SAP projects preferred
