About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop self-paced learning content covering math-first thinking and supply chain engineering workflows
- Create video courses, written modules, exercises, and toy datasets
- Build technical training materials covering mathematical modeling, optimization, data science, supply chain planning, and data visualization
- Contribute to repeatable training modules, playbooks, and structured product curricula
- Shadow and support in-person and virtual customer workshops
- Facilitate technical modeling sessions alongside senior team members
- Make complex concepts such as optimization, forecasting, and AI agents intuitive and actionable for customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Entry-level role for recent graduates
- Strong technical foundation in mathematical modeling, optimization, data science, industrial engineering, operations research, statistics, or computer science
- Comfort reasoning about algorithms and translating technical concepts into clear explanations
- Strong storytelling and teaching instincts
- Bonus: experience creating educational content, writing technical docs, or presenting to non-expert audiences
- Chicago-based or open to relocation to Chicago
- Able to work hybrid 2–3 days/week in the Loop
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer workshops, expected to reach 25–50% over time
