About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 collaboration services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online and Intune
- Provide specialist guidance and direction to technology teams and stakeholders
- Support identity and access management processes in partnership with the IDAM team
- Resolve complex service issues and coordinate incident response across internal teams and external partners
- Deliver platform improvements and new features
- Contribute to change initiatives, technology upgrades and strategic transformation programmes
- Maintain strong security and compliance controls with Security, Risk and Compliance teams
- Produce documentation and share knowledge across teams
- Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, Security and Network colleagues for aligned end-to-end service delivery
- Drive continuous improvement, simplification, optimisation and reduction of technical debt
- Manage projects from ideation through delivery
- Manage technical engineers and lead at all levels
- Collaborate with peers across various levels for experiential learning
Requirements
What you’ll need- Subject matter expertise in Microsoft 365 collaboration services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online and Intune
- Experience supporting identity and access management processes, including mailbox provisioning, permissions, authentication and access models
- Ability to resolve complex service issues and coordinate incident response
- Experience delivering platform improvements, new features, change initiatives, technology upgrades and strategic transformation programmes
- Understanding of security and compliance controls around collaboration services
- Ability to produce clear documentation and share knowledge across teams
- Ability to collaborate across Architecture, Infrastructure, Security and Network
- Project management capability from ideation through delivery
- Ability to manage technical engineers and lead at all levels
- Ability to articulate business value to senior stakeholders and challenge them
- Understanding of platform risks and controls
- Agile ways of working and development using tools like Jira/Confluence
- Ability to focus on scalability, resilience, security, quality and continuous rigour to reduce technical debt
