About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support day-to-day management of Long Tail retail accounts across the UK and EU
- Act as first point of contact for partner queries, onboarding, product and pricing information, and general commercial support
- Ensure partners have up-to-date product, merchandising, pricing and go-to-market assets
- Coordinate retail marketing and promotional activities, including in-store and online presence, seasonal and launch campaigns, co-marketing initiatives and demo programmes
- Help plan, track and reconcile marketing, promotional and co-op budgets; monitor spend, maintain records, raise purchase requests, chase invoices and flag risks
- Build and maintain reporting on account performance, sell-in and sell-through, promotional effectiveness and marketing ROI
- Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations
- Support the Distribution Manager for Retail UK & EU with business reviews, partner meeting preparation, quarterly planning, forecasting, pricing and promotion proposals, and action follow-up
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate recurring channel, marketing and budget processes
- Document scalable ways of working across accounts and markets
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, sales operations, supply chain, finance and partner-facing teams
- Monitor competitive activity, retail trends and partner feedback across UK and EU markets and share channel insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in retail, distribution, channel sales, account management, trade marketing or sales operations, ideally within consumer electronics or a comparable fast-moving category
- Experience supporting or managing marketing and promotional activity in a retail environment, including budget tracking
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with ability to work with sales and marketing data and turn it into insight
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel
- Excellent organisational skills, with ability to manage many accounts, deadlines and priorities simultaneously and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable dealing with external partners and internal stakeholders at different levels
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
- Preferred: Experience managing small or mid-sized retail accounts across multiple European markets
- Preferred: Familiarity with co-op/MDF budget processes, purchase order and invoicing workflows
- Preferred: Experience with reporting and visualisation tools utilizing AI
- Preferred: Additional European language skills
- Preferred: Interest in or experience with AR/VR, wearables or emerging technology products
