About the role

- Extract insights and help organisations make informed decisions
- Collaborate closely with clients throughout projects, from understanding data to interpreting model output and deploying models
- Provide reliable answers and maximum value to stakeholders
- Help shape client data strategies alongside data engineers

Requirements
What you’ll need- Eligibility for SC clearance; SC eligibility requires 5 years' UK residency
- Working directly with clients, users and data engineers
- Good understanding of linear algebra and statistics
- Good working knowledge of Python
- Implementing end-to-end ML pipelines
- Hands-on experience in the Python data science ecosystem, including NumPy, SciPy, pandas, scikit-learn and Matplotlib
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Knowledge of classification and regression techniques
- Knowledge of unsupervised learning and matrix factorization algorithms
- Feature engineering and feature extraction
- Natural Language Processing and document processing
- Knowledge of deep learning architectures such as CNNs and RNNs
- Model selection and evaluation
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Showcasing and presentation skills
- Evidence of self-development and continuous learning
- Empathy and people skills
- Desirable: consultancy experience
- Desirable: Agile practices such as Pairing, Scrum, XP or Kanban
- Desirable: working with data engineering teams to integrate data from various sources
- Desirable: source code repositories such as GitHub or Bitbucket
