About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the HCP marketing strategy and contribute to the annual global brand plan for Rezdiffra
- Translate market research, prescriber analytics, and customer feedback into brand positioning and messaging for HCP audiences
- Anticipate competitive threats and adjust HCP strategy
- Lead development of promotional tools and evolve promotional claims using FDA CFL guidance
- Oversee non-personal promotion across peer-to-peer, paid media, and programmatic/digital channels
- Ensure materials are scientifically accurate, on-label, and approved through the Promotional Review Committee
- Develop and manage KOL engagement strategy, advisory boards, and promotional speaker bureau
- Plan and execute major medical congresses and conferences
- Serve as primary marketing partner to Sales Leadership and equip field teams with compliant tools and messaging
- Partner with Commercial Training and Development on implementation of tools and messaging
- Lead AI-driven, dynamic engagement models and personalized customer approaches across channels
- Build and monitor performance dashboards and optimize marketing mix effectiveness
- Collaborate with Patient Marketing to ensure a unified HCP-to-patient journey
- Partner with cross-functional commercial, medical, market access, patient services, regulatory, and legal teams
- Hire, coach, and develop the HCP marketing team
- Track, forecast, and reconcile the HCP marketing budget
- Manage external creative, media, and medical communications agencies
- Prepare reports for commercial and executive leadership on progress, challenges, and recommendations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 18+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing experience
- 10+ years in HCP-facing brand marketing roles of increasing responsibility
- Majority of experience on a specialty brand
- Experience in liver and/or cardiometabolic therapy preferred
- Proven experience marketing a blockbuster or high-growth/high-potential specialty product
- Demonstrated success building and actualizing HCP marketing strategy within constraints and processes mandated by a Subpart H (conditional approval)
- Demonstrated experience as a people leader managing and leading Marketing professionals
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with Sales, Thought Leader Liaisons, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Legal/Regulatory
- Ability to distill complex information into essential knowledge and persuasively present it to all levels of management
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead, identify and resolve conflict, and drive consensus
- Role requires up to 30% US travel
