About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary contact for end-user technical support
- Deploy, configure, and support end-user devices and applications
- Provide technical support via phone, remote tools, and in-person visits
- Perform new-hire setup and deliver onboarding training for hardware, software, and systems access
- Diagnose and resolve end-user technical issues
- Escalate issues to internal teams or vendors when needed
- Maintain cybersecurity compliance on all end-user devices
- Ensure updates, policies, and protections remain in place
- Communicate status updates and resolutions to users and IT leadership
- Improve documentation, workflows, and user training materials
- Travel to MAG locations to deliver onsite support
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–7 years of experience in IT support or service desk operations
- Excellent communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical users
- Experience supporting user accounts, networks, printers, conference room AV, and mobile devices
- Strong hands-on experience with laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, and peripherals
- Proven problem-solving abilities and initiative in preventing recurring issues
- Experience supporting federal civilian or DoD environments
- Proficiency with Endpoint Manager, Intune, and Azure AD for imaging and device management
- Advanced knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications
- Experience using service desk ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position
- Compliance with applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements
- Preferred certifications: MD-102 Endpoint Administrator; MS-102 Microsoft 365 Administrator
