About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic and operational financial leadership across MAG's global activities
Lead the corporate finance function
Lead preparation of statutory reporting within a strong compliance framework
Ensure delivery of high-quality financial information supporting effective decision-making
Oversee foreign exchange and treasury management
Protect and strengthen MAG's financial health
Support organisational growth and transformation
Work closely with the Executive Director of Finance & Digital Transformation
Lead and develop the Head of Corporate Finance
Participate in occasional international travel

Requirements

What you’ll need

Senior-level financial leadership and operational finance management experience
Experience working within highly regulated environments with strong compliance requirements
Experience in treasury management, financial risk management and foreign exchange oversight
Experience in statutory reporting, financial consolidation and audit management
Experience implementing and monitoring robust financial controls
Experience leading organisational change and finance systems transformation
Experience managing financial operations across multiple currencies and jurisdictions
Fully qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent
Outstanding leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement abilities
Strong analytical and decision-making capability
Knowledge of international taxation and financial compliance requirements
Understanding of insurance and risk management processes
Ability to obtain any required visa or work permit within a reasonable time period
Satisfactory references and screening checks, including criminal records and anti-terrorism checks
