About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the preparation and review of corporate documents, including the incorporation, amendment, and regularization of companies, under the guidance of more experienced attorneys
  • Track filings, registrations, recordations, and requirements before Commercial Registry Offices, notaries, government agencies, and regulatory authorities, under team supervision
  • Conduct legal research and support the preparation of legal opinions and guidance
  • Assist with internal business requests related to less complex corporate law matters
  • Support the monitoring of companies’ corporate compliance, helping track deadlines, documents, and required actions
  • Support internal and external audit requests by gathering and organizing corporate information and documents
  • Assist in coordinating with external law firms and service providers, tracking filings, requirements, and actions related to the regularization of corporate matters

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
  • Academic or professional experience in legal activities related to Corporate Law and Corporate Governance
  • Basic knowledge of contracts and bylaws, meeting and shareholders’ meeting minutes, corporate amendments, and procedures before Commercial Registry Offices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to manage tasks and deadlines with guidance and supervision from the team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively, eagerness to learn, and commitment to ongoing technical development
  • Preferred: Regulatory Law relating to the insurance and/or banking markets
  • Preferred: experience with corporate governance routines and the organization of corporate records and statutory books
  • Preferred: prior experience, including as an intern, in an in-house legal department or law firm with a Corporate Law practice
