About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the supply of products and services under optimal conditions in terms of quality, cost, logistics, and technology
  • Implement the Category Manager’s strategy
  • Report directly to the Sourcing Team Lead
  • Handle day-to-day inquiries regarding item data and supplier quotations
  • Follow up on outstanding RFQs and coordinate with suppliers
  • Support projects through sourcing activities and supplier negotiations
  • Ensure quality, delivery timelines, and costs
  • Ensure compliance with compliance and quality standards
  • Maintain and update supplier data in the ERP system
  • Create new suppliers and product codes
  • Perform additional sourcing activities as instructed by the Category Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successfully completed degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, substantial professional experience in strategic or operational procurement/sourcing
  • 4–7 years of experience in an international environment, ideally in procurement or supplier management
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of data in a structured manner and convert them into decision-relevant information
  • Fluent, negotiation-level English, both written and spoken
  • Additional languages are an advantage
  • Structured, analytical, and independent approach to work
  • Strong teamwork skills and well-developed negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Intercultural competence
  • Ability to work professionally with a range of stakeholders
  • Willingness to submit an English-language CV and cover letter
