About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide direct support to organizations and employees through assessment, consultation, education and triage services
  • Use knowledge of federal regulations to assist organizations with employee concerns and problems
  • Consult with employees and organizations on workplace and work-based issues
  • Provide clinical expertise to restore employees with diminished performance to healthy functioning
  • Provide employee and management consultation on personal, workplace and management problems and concerns
  • Conduct critical incident response services, EAP assessment and short-term counseling
  • Deliver EAP orientations, customer webinars, critical incident response, and health and wellness trainings
  • Manage caseload and complete timely case documentation
  • Provide information and referrals to appropriate levels of care and community resources
  • Participate in activities that improve SBU and/or client performance, excellence and culture
  • Identify operational challenges or inefficiencies and recommend continuous improvement plans
  • Analyze and present issues clearly, concisely and persuasively, verbally and in writing
  • Develop effective working relationships across organizational lines and support team activities and trainings
  • Maintain professional development and current skills and techniques
  • Adhere to contract requirements, performance standards, meetings, trainings, standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience after receiving the graduate degree
  • Clinical training must include instruction on chemical dependency, mental health and brief therapy
  • Understanding of workplace issues, business functions and employee/employer relationships
  • Capability to acquire an understanding of EEO rules, ADA in the workplace, FMLA, and Drug Free Workplace Requirements
  • Ability to provide accurate client assessment, including level of risk, substance abuse and dependency, and job performance issues
  • Ability to refer clients to the appropriate level of care
  • Competence in crisis intervention
  • Knowledge and expertise in solution-focused, brief therapy in an outpatient setting
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent training and listening skills
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels within the company and with external customers
  • Ability to adjust to new situations and changing priorities
  • Comfort with ambiguity and stress while handling a variety of assignments
  • Current licensure required for this position, meeting State, Commonwealth or customer-specific requirements
  • Must be an independently licensed behavioral health clinician; acceptable licenses include LCSW-C, LCSW, LMHC, LPCC, or LPC
  • Master's degree in Behavioral Health required
  • CEAP certification preferred
