About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and coordinate RFQ processes for production equipment, automation systems, tooling and related services
  • Analyze supplier quotations, commercial proposals and total cost of ownership
  • Support sourcing decisions through supplier benchmarking, market analysis and risk assessment
  • Prepare negotiation summaries and commercial recommendations for management approval
  • Create and maintain supplier databases, sourcing records and procurement documentation
  • Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders while tracking delivery commitments
  • Monitor supplier performance regarding cost, quality, delivery and service levels
  • Identify and implement cost reduction and value improvement opportunities
  • Support CAPEX projects from sourcing phase through equipment delivery and project completion
  • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and project teams to ensure purchasing alignment
  • Support contract review activities and maintain compliance with Magna purchasing procedures
  • Develop KPI reports covering savings, sourcing activities, supplier performance and spend trends
  • Resolve commercial and delivery issues through stakeholder and supplier communication

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain or commercial analysis
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, automation, tooling or CAPEX-related projects preferred
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
  • Commercial and analytical mindset
