About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the entire accounting agenda
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements based on US GAAP
- Coordinate and process accounting agendas, including accruals
- Handle annual audits according to local law with auditors
- Control compliance with deadlines and internal guidelines, including SOX, Compliance and Legal
- Collaborate on and support development and implementation of local and global process improvements, including SAP and SOX
- Improve interfaces
- Work as part of a multi-member accounting team
- Report directly to the Senior Manager, Accounting
Requirements
What you’ll need- Commercial training (HAK/HAS or similar)
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a Senior Accountant (m/f/x)
- Accountant examination or equivalent training
- SAP R/3 or S/4 Hana Cloud is an advantage
- Good Excel, OneStream and Group Accounting skills
- US GAAP knowledge is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Additional German is an advantage
- Independent and organized way of working
- Reliability, accuracy and stress resistance
- Team player with a hands-on mentality
