About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead development activities for underperforming suppliers through the Top Focus process
  • Conduct onsite assessments of potential suppliers
  • Participate in supplier technical reviews
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify underperforming suppliers
  • Support corrective action reviews for major customer events
  • Participate in and monitor the supplier APQP process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in a technical discipline preferred
  • 5 years’ experience in electronics manufacturing
  • Ability to develop suppliers to meet global OEM regulations and requirements
  • Deep knowledge in electrical and electronic components
  • Deep understanding of PCB and PCBA, electric motors, cable harnesses, etc.
  • Experience in supplier evaluation and development, continuous quality improvement, and open issues management
  • Solid understanding of APQP/PPAP requirements, including Process Control Plan, SPC, GD&T, DFMEA, and PFMEA
  • Certified Auditor to VDA 6.3
  • Hands-on mentality with a proactive approach to identify and avoid problems at an early stage
  • Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies
  • Strong technical, engineering, and communication skills in a global automotive environment
  • Solid organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated effectiveness leading and collaborating with cross-functional/global teams
