About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for Linux- and Windows-based SAP Basis administration for ABAP and Java systems
Monitoring, maintenance, optimization, and administration of SAP databases (Oracle)
Planning and execution of SAP installations, upgrades, Enhancement Packages (EHPs), kernel updates, and system and client copies
Monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution, while ensuring continuous performance optimization
Ensuring ongoing SAP operations as part of 2nd- and 3rd-level support

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed university degree or comparable vocational training in IT, combined with relevant professional experience
1–3 years of professional experience
Solid knowledge of working with different operating systems (Windows, Linux)
Solid knowledge of database administration (Oracle, HANA, Sybase)
Experience using and implementing SAP Solution Manager
Strong technical understanding and analytical skills
Very good German language skills
