About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary quality contact for automotive customers after start of production
  • Organize and support customer quality-related visits and audits
  • Investigate audit findings, coordinate corrections or corrective actions, and verify results
  • Visit customer sites as needed or requested
  • Manage customer quality portals, monitor and report site-specific quality information, and respond to customer requests
  • Advise on customer-specific requirements
  • Review and submit customer-requested documentation
  • Discuss PPAP submission requirements and coordinate customer PPAP submissions for technical changes
  • Manage the customer deviation process
  • Steer evaluation of internal product non-conformances against customer specifications
  • Initiate problem-solving for 0 km and field customer complaints
  • Review and submit formal complaint documentation on time
  • Enter field data into SAP WM, negotiate technical factors, reject claims, and initiate alerts as appropriate
  • Participate in continuous improvement and corrective-action activities
  • Ensure correct application of quality tools and expertise
  • Stop processes or product delivery in cases of serious non-conformance, safety, environmental, or customer-expectation risks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • 3 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing or Production functions in the automotive industry
  • Expertise in Quality Management Systems, Problem Solving, FMEA, PPAP and Statistics
  • Ability to interpret drawings and requirements for ensuring the adherence to agreed Quality parameters
  • Expertise in Customer Specific Requirements preferred
