About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain baseline statistical forecasts using historical sales, seasonality, and demand trends
Analyze forecast performance, identify root causes of forecast variances, and recommend improvements
Prepare monthly demand planning reports, including forecast tracking and KPI metrics such as forecast accuracy and bias
Support the monthly Demand Consensus process with data, analyses, and presentation materials
Maintain forecast master data, planning parameters, and data integrity within SAP
Perform customer, product, and market demand analyses to identify emerging trends and business risks
Support new product launches, product transitions, and product discontinuations from a demand planning perspective
Develop and automate reporting using Excel, Power BI, and AI-enabled analytical tools
Partner with Supply Planning, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure planning data is accurate and complete
Recommend process improvements to increase forecasting efficiency and reduce manual work
Provide ad hoc analyses and decision support for Senior Demand Planners and leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or related field
1-3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, forecasting, business analytics, or a related analytical role
Advanced to Expert Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, or similar planning systems (preferred)
Experience using Power BI (preferred)
Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
Knowledge of forecasting methodologies and SIOP processes (preferred)
