About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, execute, and optimize sales strategies for assigned global OEM customers across North America
  • Achieve short- and long-term sales objectives and drive profitable growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with customer, market, and product strategies
  • Align regional execution with the global sales strategy
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with assigned OEM customers
  • Lead pricing strategy development and execution with the Sr. VP Automotive Aftermarket Americas
  • Negotiate long-term commercial agreements and contracts
  • Coordinate and oversee customer activities across North America
  • Own and monitor US and Mexico sales performance for assigned customer groups
  • Review KPIs and implement corrective measures when targets are at risk
  • Plan, manage, and control the cost and sales budget
  • Monitor market, customer, industry, and competitor trends
  • Forecast customer and market developments for planning and resource allocation
  • Lead, coach, motivate, and develop direct and indirect reports
  • Ensure the sales organization is structured and staffed for current and future needs
  • Drive accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Lead strategic and operational sales planning
  • Ensure disciplined execution and adherence to corporate governance requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or related field of education
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in sales or business development with Automotive OEM customers
  • 5+ years of related managerial experience
  • Strong financial and analytical background
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Strategic management and leadership skills
  • Strong technical background and varied product experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills
  • Business acumen, customer orientation, organization and coordination skills, self-initiative, ability to work under pressure, and conflict management
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce or equivalent CRM, and enterprise systems such as SAP
  • Strong digital acumen, including CRM, ERP, and aftermarket digital platforms
  • Ability to leverage data analytics and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience leading digital transformation or process digitalization initiatives
  • Understanding of aftermarket digital trends, including e-commerce, predictive maintenance, and connected products/IoT
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into automation and scalable digital solutions
  • Preferred: Master’s degree
  • Preferred: Knowledge or experience in filtration, engineering, manufacturing, or sales
  • Preferred: OES or Automotive aftermarket experience
  • Preferred: Spanish language skills
