About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain, update, and validate engineering, asset, and facilities-related data
- Support data-quality reviews and ensure accuracy across systems
- Organize equipment records, drawings, specifications, and maintenance documentation
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance-tracking metrics
- Participate in facility inspections and site walkthroughs
- Collect and verify building, space, equipment, and infrastructure data
- Document observations, deficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Support facility-condition assessments and asset-inventory activities
- Collaborate with Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance, Procurement, and business stakeholders to collect operational requirements
- Document facility, maintenance, and system-related processes
- Support continuous-improvement initiatives through data collection and stakeholder engagement
- Gather, clean, organize, validate, and analyze data from internal systems and sources
- Develop spreadsheets, reports, and presentations to support decision-making
- Identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for operational improvement
- Create, track, and close maintenance work orders
- Monitor work-order progress and maintain accurate, complete documentation
- Assist with preventive-maintenance scheduling and tracking
- Coordinate with service providers and internal stakeholders
- Administer IWMS and/or CMMS data and provide system support
- Support system testing, user support, reporting, process documentation, system enhancements, and data-migration projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree program in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Engineering, Facility Management, Construction Management, Maintenance Planning, Procurement or Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Ability to manage and analyze data accurately and with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Familiarity with facilities management, maintenance operations, or engineering processes preferred
- Experience with IWMS, CMMS, ERP, or work-order management systems preferred
- Knowledge of data-management and reporting tools preferred
- Experience conducting site surveys, asset inventories, or facility assessments preferred
- Understanding of maintenance-planning and procurement processes preferred
