About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a trusted financial co-pilot and strategic counterpart to Vice Presidents of Original Equipment and Industrial businesses
- Provide holistic financial perspectives integrating strategic, commercial, and operational drivers
- Challenge and influence senior leadership decisions to support sustainable financial performance and value creation
- Link financial steering to profitability, cash flow, and capital efficiency targets
- Drive performance management using liquidity- and value-focused KPIs such as NWC, FCF, and ROCE
- Lead company-wide process optimization and digitalization initiatives
- Design and improve financial processes in alignment with group standards
- Build relationships across a global, matrixed organization
- Own efficient financial processes, data quality, and transparency
- Deliver KPI analysis, forecasts, and budgets to senior management
- Oversee legal entity financial performance, balance sheets, profitability, costing, investments, capital allocation, liquidity, working capital planning, forecasting, and budgeting
- Ensure compliance with internal control systems and financial governance standards
- Translate Headquarters’ financial requirements into a regional finance strategy
- Identify performance gaps, define corrective actions, and track financial impact
- Lead, develop, and inspire the Business Unit Controlling organization
- Build talent pipelines through coaching, development, and succession planning
- Foster accountability, ownership, performance discipline, cross-functional collaboration, and a one-team mindset
- Promote transparency, trust, constructive challenge, digitalization, and continuous learning
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in finance/controlling
- Proven leadership experience with direct people management responsibility
- Strong background in a global, matrixed, and multicultural organization
- Strong financial acumen with proven financial performance management and reporting capabilities
- Advanced SAP expertise
- Strong analytical and business partnering skills
- Excellent communication and influencing capabilities
- Proven ability to drive performance and challenge senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel
- Willingness to travel approximately 10%
- Multilingual capabilities are preferred, such as English/Spanish, English/Portuguese, or English/German
