About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead customer product-development projects from requirements analysis through technical validation
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers on filtration-related matters
- Analyze specifications, regulatory requirements, and application constraints
- Contribute to innovation projects aligned with the Group’s strategy and market needs
- Propose innovative, robust, and competitive technical solutions for air, water, oil, and fuel filtration
- Contribute to the development of Heavy Duty and Industrial product roadmaps
- Work closely with internal R&D, Quality, Production, Sales, and Purchasing teams
- Collaborate with MANN+HUMMEL Group technical centers
- Monitor project progress, including schedules, costs, risks, and reporting
- Provide technical support to Sales teams in developing new business opportunities
- Participate in customer meetings, technical reviews, and product presentations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering degree or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Proven experience in product or systems development, design engineering, or managing technical projects
- Good knowledge of Heavy Duty environments, including heavy trucks, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, and industrial applications
- Strong technical background, particularly in fluid mechanics
- Knowledge of propulsion systems and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly CATIA
- Knowledge of ISO tolerancing
- Comfortable managing technical projects and analyzing customer environments
- Professional proficiency in English required
- Self-motivated, creative, and adaptable
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus
- Team-oriented, with the ability to work effectively in an international environment
