About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, P&L analysis and reporting, variance analysis, and controlling using SAP and Power BI
  • Determine, execute, and report counteraction plans to improve financial performance
  • Participate in daily/weekly SQDC meetings and drive ownership of financial targets
  • Perform yearly budgeting and monthly forecasting, identifying and capturing risks and opportunities
  • Manage product costing, cost center planning and reporting, internal orders, tariffs, routings, and product cost development in SAP
  • Handle investment controlling, inventory management, headcount reporting, and ad-hoc plant analysis
  • Maintain internal control systems to ensure compliance and minimize financial risks
  • Coordinate project controlling and business case calculations with regional functions and plants
  • Develop and maintain standard reporting packages and documentation
  • Manage and periodically report operational KPIs to management
  • Provide business partners with reports and analyses on developments versus plan and forecast

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years' relevant work experience
  • Manufacturing or industrial environment finance experience
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, matrix organizational structure
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment
  • Competence in MS Office with advanced Excel skills
  • ERP system experience
  • MBA / Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
  • CPA or CMA Certification (preferred)
  • SAP ERP system experience (preferred)
  • Automotive industry experience (preferred)
