Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supervise daily production activities and employee performance.
  • Create work schedules, assign duties, and ensure adherence to quality standards and company procedures.
  • Hire, train, coach, develop, and manage employees in accordance with HR policies.
  • Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment with a strong safety-first culture.
  • Monitor productivity, labor utilization, and overtime while driving operational efficiency.
  • Standardize processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with plant leadership to meet production targets and customer requirements.
  • Track and report production output, issues, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure proper staffing and attendance throughout shifts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or material management environment.
  • Experience with hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and employee development.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of production scheduling, materials planning, and Lean Manufacturing principles preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/Sage experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Forklift experience/certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work in temperature conditions between 45 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, use hands to handle or feel, and reach/lift with hands and arms up to 50 pounds.
