About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, manage and coordinate one or more projects within the Aftermarket Americas business unit
  • Coordinate Production department activities to ensure product producibility and product cost optimization
  • Develop product assurance plans (PCF), project stages, deadlines, and product Quality Gates
  • Coordinate engineering activities across development, design, and application departments
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, assign tasks, and arrange meetings and communication
  • Ensure compliance with technical standards, xSEP development process, and M+H Group norms
  • Review project status and initiate corrective actions for Quality Gate deviations
  • Perform risk analyses covering profitability, timing, technical, and environmental requirements
  • Support development of project management tools, functions, and processes for global implementation
  • Conduct customer and project-team kickoff meetings
  • Provide customers with technical project documentation, including descriptions, presentations, specifications, FMEA, and design verification plans
  • Maintain project master data in C Projects
  • Plan, implement, and control project budgets and internal/external resources
  • Monitor and report project KPIs, including timelines, cost targets, and revenue impact
  • Report project status and Quality Gate results to the Aftermarket Americas steering committee and provide escalation support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering
  • 3 years' minimum relevant work experience in Cost Reduction Projects, Revenue Impact and Cost Optimization, and Project Management with interdisciplinary teams
  • Experience in product development processes and/or manufacturing process
  • Intermediate/Advanced level with Excel
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Competence in quality systems
  • Knowledgeable in product development processes and/or manufacturing process
  • Knowledgeable with Automation, Vision and multi-step project implementation
  • Detailed product know-how and system understanding (engine, flow, materials)
  • Strong proven ability to lead others and project-based cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel weekly up to 30% (Local/Regional)
  • Automotive Aftermarket manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Product launch experience very strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding and experience with both the technical and business development sides of product development
