About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of product design concepts
  • Create and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical design documentation
  • Participate in functional design reviews and support project maturity confirmations throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Manage product modifications and engineering changes according to technical specifications and established processes
  • Create test orders and generate test reports in coordination with the test lab
  • Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation for workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and product release
  • Support innovation initiatives, including patent applications and intellectual property protection
  • Maintain accurate product data and documentation within the CDB and TnT databases

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5–8 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in automotive or similar product design and development processes
  • Proficiency in CAD tools, mainly CATIA
  • Understanding of filtration technologies, including air, oil, fuel, and cabin filters
  • Knowledge of materials science, especially polymers, casting, and composites
  • Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA)
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and ISO/TS 16949 standards
  • Experience with injection molding, pleating, ultrasonic welding, and assembly
  • Exposure to 3D printing/additive manufacturing for prototyping
