About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take over the role of Project Logistics Planner within a project, performing logistics tasks defined in the xSEP
Set up, review, and update the Material Planning & Logistics Checklist at relevant xSEP gates
Plan and coordinate trial production to ensure delivery of pre-series parts
Define logistics concepts, including packaging, transport, and material flow
Calculate logistics costs for handling, warehousing, and transport
Support layout planning for new production lines considering logistics aspects
Define packaging for WIP and purchased components in new projects, considering PPE requirements
Define relevant logistics equipment
Create and update SAP master data
Forecast demands in SAP and ensure all demands are included in planning
Communicate with purchasing to ensure availability of purchased components
Plan production of in-house components to ensure on-time delivery
Ensure internal transport of purchased parts to pre-series production stock
Properly plan production orders, pre-series trials, IPTs, and other production runs in SAP and production plans
Ensure availability of purchased parts and WIP parts for production runs
Ensure availability of standard or alternative packaging
Maintain and update process information and documents in the M+H document management system (CDB)
Report Project Maturity Confirmation (PMC) at relevant gates and obtain manager approval
Attend project team meetings, report status, and cooperate with other team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree or relevant education in the field of Business Administration with specialization in Logistics
3+ years of relevant work experience
Customer and supplier orientation
Organization and coordination skills
Self-initiative and ability to work under pressure
Communication skills
Good understanding of M+H products and processes
Knowledge of relevant IT tools, including MS Office and SAP
Knowledge of relevant norms and standards
