About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and oversee distribution and transportation operations in MHXX
Execute distribution and transportation strategy aligned with global supply chain goals and company growth objectives
Drive performance in Distribution Centers and optimize the local distribution network
Improve transportation efficiency through process optimization, cost control, and service enhancements
Monitor KPIs including on-time delivery, cost per shipment, and lead times
Ensure compliance with QHSE standards across operations
Ensure effective communication and alignment across all organizational levels
Establish relationships with external partners to ensure reliable service and competitive pricing
Conduct monthly and quarterly vendor performance reviews and drive continuous improvement
Develop and manage the distribution and transportation budget
Drive distribution strategy execution, SQDC implementation, and 3PL provider management
Provide subject matter expertise for new 3PL RFQs
Conduct feasibility studies for new projects, including lead time, cost, freight, and duty
Manage and optimize inbound and outbound transportation flows
Analyze and report financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
Assess logistics and transportation financial risks and take escalation steps for mitigation
Ensure compliance with international transportation, Customs, and trade regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or comparable qualification in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering with a Logistics focus
E-commerce implementation experience; process lead experience is an advantage
Multiple project management and implementation experience, including 3PL changes and 4PL
SAP Key User experience, particularly QM and MM modules, including customization
Proven experience driving results improvement
3–5 years of experience in distribution logistics
1–2 years of experience in transportation coordination and optimization
Experience in automotive manufacturing and M+H product and manufacturing process knowledge
Good proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Strong verbal and written communication
Analytical thinking and problem solving
Proactive approach and willingness to learn and stay updated with market trends
