About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build relationships with clients and hiring partners
- Become the primary point of contact for clients and partners
- Gather requirements directly from the source and clarify them with managers
- Monitor the satisfaction of placed consultants and the end of their assignments
- Identify new organizations and new opportunities using business development tools
- Open new accounts and grow existing ones
- Conduct qualification interviews with developers and IT specialists in Java, cloud, DevOps, data, and QA
- Verify candidates’ actual experience before presenting them
- Prepare and submit candidate profiles through vendor portals
- Support candidates through to their start date
- Work daily with AI agents and ATS, CRM, and LinkedIn Recruiter tools
- Suggest improvements and test new tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of experience in IT recruitment or consultant staffing, ideally with an agency or consulting firm in Montreal
- Experience managing client or partner relationships
- Interest in business development
- Comfortable with technical terminology and full-stack, back-end, and Angular profiles
- Local IT network
- Experience with vendor management systems (VMS) used by large organizations is an asset
- Ability to work equally well in French and English
- Daily use of AI or willingness to adopt it
