About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Bring your technical expertise and soft skills to technology projects across Canada
- Contribute to the technical architecture design of full-stack applications, from front end to back end, deployed in the cloud
- Develop in an Agile environment
- Share development best practices with the Maplr community
- Suggest improvements by contributing to the community’s growth and future as an active Maplr member
- Train new Maplrs and participate in their technical assessments
- Take part in exclusive Maplr community events
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Python for back-end development and React for front-end development
- Hands-on experience developing on AWS, including designing, deploying, and operating production services (e.g., Lambda, S3, EKS, EC2)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.)
- An understanding of the importance of high-quality code and adherence to Software Craftsmanship principles (Clean Code, automated testing, etc.)
- Experience with an Agile methodology such as Scrum
- Experience with generative AI (LLMs, RAG) is an asset
- Work in French and feel comfortable communicating in English
- Ability to independently learn new technologies and ways of working
- Demonstrate transparency, kindness, and positivity within the team
