About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create ETL packages using SSIS to load data from disparate data sources
Troubleshoot SQL database issues reported by users and the application team
Create and modify reports using SSRS and/or Power BI
Analyze SQL queries and SSRS reports for performance improvements
Perform SQL data analysis and updates to resolve software issues
Communicate with executives, data analysts, application developers, business users, and customers
Collaborate with IT and engineering teams on troubleshooting, hands-on software support, data cleansing, and data synchronization
Develop automated solutions to address potential problems before service interruptions occur

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
5 years of experience in database development and support
5 years of experience writing, analyzing, and optimizing SQL queries in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
5 years of experience developing and maintaining ETL processes
5 years of experience supporting and troubleshooting database issues in a production environment
5 years of experience performing data analysis and executing data updates to resolve application issues
5 years of experience creating and modifying database reports using reporting tools
5 years of experience working with relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
1 year of experience in the financial services or payments industry
Experience may be, but need not be acquired concurrently
Must live within commuting distance of the Atlanta, GA office
Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy
