About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Data Production Division
  • Generate the highest-quality data in MarginEdge from a wide range of sources
  • Lead the full data production chain across invoice ingestion, recipe ingestion, inventory taking, and vendor integrations
  • Expand customer-facing tools for inventory taking, recipe creation, and ingredient mapping
  • Own the integrations roadmap and develop technical approaches for connecting and processing multi-source data
  • Collaborate with engineering, data platform, and analytics teams to define data architecture and principles
  • Help enforce data architecture compliance so data is prepared and available for downstream systems and products
  • Supervise the Product Management Team
  • Report directly to the Chief Product Officer

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Senior, mature product leader with a track record managing a multi-team organization spanning a full production chain
  • Strong working knowledge of data pipelines from customer-generated and technical sources, including API integrations and data architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous, high-risk operational problems into a prioritized, well-scoped Product backlog
  • Comfort with an evolving SDLC, including incorporation of new technologies and methodologies for Product Management, aligned with changing AI development processes and technologies
  • Strong understanding of incorporating prioritized data processing workflow approaches, from deterministic to AI/LLM-based automation into production data workflows
  • Prior experience with supply chain and back-of-house technologies (nice to have)
  • Experience with POS, accounting, or vendor/EDI integrations (nice to have)
  • Experience shipping AI-assisted data workflows, such as AI-assisted mapping or enrichment (nice to have)
  • Experience at a venture-backed startup or growth-stage company (nice to have)
  • Experience working in or around restaurants or hospitality, with a love of great food (nice to have)
