About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Locate, order, pull, create, and organize case files
- Enter and retrieve case information from Motor Vehicle Department, Justice Court, and Superior Court databases
- Perform statistical data collection and tracking
- Prepare correspondence
- Research persons’ information in state and national criminal history databases
- Maintain a current TOC with the Department of Public Safety
- Enter data in the case management system using information from law enforcement
- Assist with case disposition entries
- Assist with scanning and uploading case files and documents
- Collaborate with supervisors, co-workers, and peers through email, phone, in-person, and virtual meetings
- Provide information to the public and partner agencies and respond to inquiries
- Ensure quality and accuracy in work
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two years of experience performing specialized clerical duties such as drafting memos and correspondence, gathering data for reports, and providing customer service duties
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs
- High school diploma or GED
- Post-secondary education may substitute for minimum experience on a year-for-year basis
- Valid Arizona driver’s license upon hire
- Successful completion of a thorough background check
- Subject to drug testing after an offer and before placement
- Ability to lift boxes and/or pull a mailcart weighing 25–40 pounds
- Ability to operate office equipment requiring manual dexterity
- Clerical/customer service experience in a law office, judicial, or law enforcement environment valued
