About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security, and high availability
Build and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code for automated provisioning and management
Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application builds, testing, and deployments
Drive GitOps practices and automation with Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD
Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and troubleshooting capabilities
Build internal tools and automation to improve developer productivity and reduce manual processes
Partner with engineering teams on DevOps best practices and deployment workflows
Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks, operational inefficiencies, and potential failures
Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation and troubleshoot critical incidents
Own infrastructure projects supporting the platform's scalability, stability, and health
Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Product, and Technical Services teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the country in which the role is being hired
Mark43 is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa
5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related infrastructure-focused role
Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure
Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code technologies, particularly Terraform
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
Experience implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions
Familiarity with GitOps practices and deployment automation tools such as ArgoCD
Experience with scripting or programming for infrastructure automation and internal tooling
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and compliance best practices
Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and improve system performance and reliability
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical projects, and partner effectively with engineering teams
