About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to PR strategy plans to meet client business objectives and deliver immediate value
Manage core PR programs, including media relations, speaking, awards, social media, and content development
Proactively pitch technology, business, trade, and vertical media using traditional and social channels
Develop press releases, byline articles, blog posts, social media, and other materials with minimal oversight and edits
Communicate with clients and counsel them with strategic, insightful recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3-4 years of post-graduate PR experience in an agency setting or corporate environment
Previous technology PR experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in a communications or business-related field
Solid media pitching experience
Existing relationships with key journalists in prominent outlets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle shifting priorities and deadlines
Eligible to work in Canada or the US without visa sponsorship
