About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide project management expertise for coordination, planning, and work prioritization of projects ranging from $50K to $20M or more
- Act as a liaison and coordinate with U.S. government representatives at multiple levels
- Oversee the Site O&M support contractor for resource allocation and document control
- Ensure the government receives valid cost proposals
- Develop and report metrics supporting continuous improvement
- Initiate projects and assist with completion and review of requirements documents to ensure customer requirements for power, space, and cooling are met
- Manage performance, budgets, schedules, and control gates
- Develop and submit project development documents for project planning and execution
- Prepare and monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets
- Provide technical guidance on contracting and construction-related issues
- Prepare and update project status briefings and support leadership briefings
- Support and occasionally provide site tours for distinguished and other identified visitors
- Facilitate project coordination between multiple government stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active TS/SCI with a CI poly
- AutoCAD experience
- Basic knowledge of the government organization and method of conducting business
- Bachelor's degree in facilities related engineering or architectural field
- 7+ years of relevant experience in IC, DOD or Commercial Sector in the last 12 years
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local building and safety codes
- Ability to travel local
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to team with industry partners
- Knowledge of facility operations and maintenance activities and procedures
- Ability to manage multiple and competing resources
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
- Experience with MS Project or equivalent scheduling tool preferred
- Experience with schedule analysis preferred
- Experience with space planning and development of test fits preferred
- Knowledge of systems furniture and standard office furnishings preferred
- Understanding of ADA/ABA guidelines preferred
- Experience creating Scopes of Work for RFP/RFI/IFB packages, including Government Cost Estimates, preferred
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Archibus, and/or SAP preferred
